Three Little Bops

Greetings!

Just a reminder today about the field trip:

Students will need to make sure they bring:

  • A backpack
  • A hat
  • Swimming gear and towel
  • Sunscreen
  • A water bottle
  • Insect repellent
  • Covered footwear (if they intend going on the hike)

I have a tube of sunscreen to share. And all the kids have good fly-shooing hands. So please double check to see that a hat, swim gear and towel, and a water bottle are packed in the day's backpack. Email me if you have any questions.

We're gonna have a splashy good time!

In class, we used several versions of the Three Little Pigs to talk about anger, expectations, disappointment ,and uncertainty. The Three Little Bops was one of our favorite takes.  Overall, the classic story allowed us to connect many of the philosophically ideas we have discussed over the past couple months.

This coming week, we'll finish our much anticipated robotic hands. I've enjoy watching the care and patience the kids have needed to exercise in this project.

The robotic hands will be cool.

Our final week is looking to be a wild one. Yay!

Enjoy your weekend,
Don
